On Friday, 22 November 2019 Lou Lou’s hosted an exclusive MVG Club and re-launch party for celebs, A-listers and media. The esteemed guests were welcomed by the fabulous Local drag persona, Odidiva, with a glass of the eye-catching Pongracz Brut.
To highlight the delights of this premium upmarket establishment, set in the European inspired Cape Quarter, Lou Lou’s draped in gold and black invited these hand selected guests to become premium card holders.
The re-launch of the dynamic Lou Lou’s is set to become the new hot spot for every occasion, “When they opened, it was exactly the flavor that needed to be put into the square, European day to night, in the daylight you feel like you are sitting at the red district in the Overkamp and at night time you feel like you are in Versace’s library”; as said by African Queen Odidiva.
The simplicity, freshness, serious flavour and delectable canapes from Chef Chantelle de Souza left the guests enticed with Lou Lou’s new-age take on tapas, fusing Asian, Italian and contemporary cuisines. Fresh, seasonal ingredients were used, combining multiple cooking techniques and methods, which paired perfectly with the new kid on the block, Good Leaf CBD water.
By inviting the trend-setters, rule breakers and influential guests like Tracy-Lee Rosslind, Sanele Xaba and Matte Jacobs to become part of the Lou Lou’s MVG program, James hopes to reach other people alike. After the jaw dropping performance from Odidiva, guests received their premium cards and goodie bags filled with a plethora of fabulous gifting, but this was certainly not the end of the nights as no one knows how to celebrate Lou Lou’s!
