An Italian Fiesta of Live Music & Flavour-Full Dining

(Cape Town, South Africa) For one night only, on Friday 26 July 2019, Cape Town’s Urban Oasis - 15 On Orange Hotel, Autograph Collection - will transform into a little slice of Italy, where guests can experience an authentic Italian journey of the senses.

Commencing at 7pm, the taste tour begins in Saronno, Italy, the birthplace of Amaretto. Disaronno welcome cocktails will be served upon arrival (infused with a choice of San Pellegrino flavoured soda waters, Fitch & Leedes or Happy Culture Kombucha) or the alternative of Chateau Del Rei sparkling wine.  Whilst sipping on something sensational guests can sit back and enjoy the sounds of celebrated Italian musician, Francesca Biancoli performing live.

From Seranno to the Island of Capri -  the starter Antipasta sharing platters comprise of olives, salami, Parma ham, chorizo, marinated artichokes, cream cheese stuffed peppadews, brie cheese, sundried tomato tapenade, pesto cream cheese, breadsticks, ciabatta and lavashe. A complimentary accompaniment of Ayama Vermentino (white wine varietal originating from Sardinia) to further enhance the fiesta of flavours.

Next sensory stop guests will be transported to the homeland of meat in Italian cuisine, also renowned for some of the world’s most recognizable Renaissance art and architecture, Tuscany. Presenting a dichotomy of traditional Italian cuisine with an influence of modern molecular bistronomy: Roast Beef Sirloin Tagliata Topped with rucola, grana Padano, roasted heirloom tomato, crispy baby potatoes; or Baked butternut squash and chickpea falafels (veggie option), Rasl el hanout, kale and braised lentils.

To end of an exquisite journey of the senses we’ll stop at the foot of the Alps in Piedmont, known for sophisticated cuisine and the birthplace of the beloved Panna Cotta. Guests will experience a rich and creamy Affogato panna cotta with coffee jelly, amaretti biscuit and dark chocolate ganache served for dessert.

Renowned performer, Francesca Biancoli, takes the stage, tapping into her Italian heritage for the freshest auditory accompaniment to a Friday celebration never to forget.

Guests are welcomed to a complimentary Disaronno cocktail with San Pellegrino and Happy Culture Kombucha upon arrival.
