Debuting the series of winter movies, on 28 June, 2018, is the British-American romantic comedy-drama, Chocolat. Created in 2000, the five times Academy Award nominated French film tells the story of a young mother, played by Juliette Binoche, and her daughter, who transform the repressed people of the French village of Lansquenet-sous-Tannes with her chocolaterie, La Chocolaterie Maya. The motion picture was also nominated for eight BAFTAs, and four Golden Globes. Judi Dench won a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in the film.

30 August, 2018 will host the screening of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Set in 18th century France, the film tells the story of Jean-Baptiste Grenouille (Whishaw), an olfactory genius, and his homicidal quest for the perfect scent. Released in 2006 the movie grossed over $135 million worldwide.

The winter film finale wraps on 27 September, 2018 with Amélie, a French romantic comedy film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Starring Audrey Tautou, the film, set in Montmartre, is a whimsical depiction of contemporary Parisian life. Receiving critical acclaim Amélie was a major box office success winning Best Film at the European Film Awards; four César Awards in 2002 (including Best Film and Best Director), two BAFTA Awards (including Best Original Screenplay), and was nominated for five Academy Awards.
